President & Owner
Taylor MacDonald started Solid Masonry back in 2011, doing heritage restoration work on older and historic buildings. What began as a one-man operation has grown into a close-knit team that takes real pride in doing things right.
Restoration work never happens in isolation. Over the years, Taylor has worked alongside some great carpenters, plasterers, plumbers and electricians, people who know their way around older homes and aren’t thrown by crooked walls, old wiring or plaster that’s been there for a century. Those relationships turned into a team, and since 2014 they’ve been doing beautiful renovation work together.
That’s what Solid Renovation is all about. Whether you’re updating a bathroom, redoing a kitchen, finishing a basement or taking on a full house restoration, you get a team that brings the care and know-how of heritage work to your home.
